Well opening the box I was a teeny bit miffed to find that the 'spray' was in fact a aerosol tube with a pump. I don't really know what exactly I was expecting. I am not sure I would like the idea of spraying clay directly onto my face and trying to avoid my eyes and mouth either. I am just hard to please!
APPLICATION The instructions for use are to spray or moisten the skin with natural mineral water (I used tap water) and dispense and massage in to the skin avoiding the eye area, and once dried, to wash off the skin with water until the clay is removed. A gorgeous chocolately aroma filled my senses as I applied the mask and things were going great UNTIL the smell kicked in. I can only describe this smell as wet hay on a farm and after a sniff my husband agreed. The smell didn't disappear but did settle down a bit as the mask dried out.
One pump gave more than sufficient product to cover my face. In fact, in hindsight, I think one pump is far too much product as it took longer than I expected to dry. 25 minutes. Removal of the mask actually hurt a little around my nose and cheeks which again would indicate too much product had been used. My advice is go easy on the pump!
THE RESULTS Well I can confirm that Clayspray is the most amazing mask I have ever used. My huge pores are no more! My skin looks smooth, refined and feels so soft! Make up application is much easier and I didn't need to apply as much concealer as usual. I had a few comments over dinner this evening that I 'looked well'. I really did feel that it visibly improved my skin.
Clayspray retails at £15.00 for a 30ml here but is currently on offer for £13.50.
