The main aim of the So Susan brand is to create cosmetics that are skin friendly.
The website says:
Makeup that you apply and leave on your skin for hours at a time should have outstanding skincare performance.
Susan Chyi, who founded So Susan, was also the original founder of Jelly Pong Pong. Jelly Pong Pong was sold at the end of 2011. The So Susan brand was born in 2012.
A huge plus point is packaging contains the bunny badge showing that the products are cruelty-free.
On first look at this product I found it very red. I normally go for coral shades in blush so I wondered how I could make this work for me. After blending in a little I could see this really beautiful shade coming through. The product remained 'workable' for several minutes before setting and lasting for the whole 8 hours, as promised, and beyond! I was able to remove this product using normal facial cleanser with no staining.
So Susan have not mentioned whether this product can be used on lips but I don't see any reason why it couldn't. Although I have not tried it, I imagine a thin application would be a great base for lipgloss.
The 8 House Cheek Stain is available here for the price of £25.00
The product comes out of the tube a dark gold colour. It is easy to apply and dries after approximately one minute. Once dry, I was able to rub over the area and the shimmer did not move at all. As the photographs highlight, you can apply a thick or thin coat depending on the look you are after.
I have used this on my eyelids, as a base for eyeshadow. I have also used it around my cheekbones and brow bones. I am happy with its application and confirm that it does last all day. As with the blush the product is easily removed with facial cleanser.
The Water-based Pure Luminizer is available here for the price of £25.00.
