The packaging points out that the formula includes Shea butter and Vitamin E and claims the product moisturises lips for 8 hours.

I can imagine all the above could be true for non-lipbalm users but I don't think it is that much better than other similar products to be brutally honest. It is however fun and innovative and a concept which other companies are now latching onto.
Oh! Orange! is a mild fragranced orange balm which reminds me a little of jaffa cakes. It does add quite an orange tint to the lips. It's orange-orange, not orange-coral which would have been preferable. I wouldn't purchase this one and I would advise checking your mirror when applying just in case.
Minty Sheer is a mild fragranced and fresh flavour. My lips tingled very slightly after a few moments. The colour payoff is slight and tones down red lips slightly giving a beautiful glossy gold/yellow tinged nude tone.
Strike a Rose is a mild fragranced floral flavour balm. This one is very pigmented, more so than any of the other balms tried for this review. Application leaves lips looking like they have a beautiful almost hot pink lipgloss on. The colour pigment is better than some lipsticks and glosses I have tried. This balm actually left a mark on my coffee cup! The scent is lasting for sometime after too. This one is my favourite!
Berry Bomb is a mild berry fragranced balm. I can't tell you which berries are included but it's a gorgeous fruity smell. The tint is bluey purple in colour which is quite noticeable. It looks like a beautiful sheer gloss on the lips. I really like this one and would definitely repurchase.
The colour is buildable with these lipbalms. As the butters melt into the lips to moisturise them, the colour has a staining effect. The balm then gets reapplied which means the colour just builds and builds. The more you use it the more colour you will see.
Overall, Electro Baby Lips give a lot of colour payoff considering they are lipbalms. They are certainly more pigmented than the Baby Lips currently available in the UK. Being a balm, there is also the benefit of moisturisation and lips are not sticky after application.
